The BPS Global Charity Foundation recently partnered with Shining Social Services to visit the Wong Tai Sin community, offering free home cleaning services to elderly residents who live alone, have low income or have limited mobility, helping them improve safety and hygiene at home.
With Hong Kong's rapidly ageing population, many elderly individuals struggle to clean their homes due to declining physical ability or lack of support, placing them at risk of home accidents. Through professional cleaning services and home visits, we hope to ease their daily burdens and provide practical care.
During the service day, volunteers from the BPS Global Charity Foundation assisted elderly residents with floor disinfection, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and decluttering, improving their living environments and allowing them to feel the community's support and companionship.
